About
I’m Theda Blackwood and I’ve been an industry leader for more than 20 years! My passion is helping women with their self confidence… I didn’t know that when I first started my businesses… but I discovered the passion and joy I had when women were stepping out of their comfort zone and doing things that made them a little uncomfortable, things that resulted in personal growth and business growth.
My mother raised me to believe I could be anything I wanted to be and do anything I wanted to do. She broke the mold with me. She was raised and “told” that she could be a teacher, nurse or secretary and all she wanted to be an archeologist.
At the age of 12-14 I toured the United States in the Broadway tour of Annie, I was a full time orphan for a year while also playing the roll as Annie as her understudy in the 3rd National Tour and after a year of touring, Martin Charnin asked me to play the role of Annie in the 1st National Tour. I did 8 shows a week in front of thousands of people. It was an amazing experience!
I then went to college for Interior Design and became an accredited Interior Designer as a partner of an Architecture firm, running their Interior Design department. I loved every minute of it until I had my son and wanted to stay home with him.
This led me to joining Southern Living Magazine’s direct sales division, Southern Living at HOME and as a stay at home mom of an 18 month and a 3 1/2 year old, I was able to build a multi-million dollar business from home. That company closed in 2013, the same year that my mom passed away and a jewelry designer from Atlanta, GA asked me to help launch their direct sales company. I worked with them for 6 years only to have that business close in the pandemic. I truly believed I wasn’t going to sell anything ever again, but a friend called to tell me about yet another start up…. I agreed to try the products and was blown away with the results. I joined a brand in the hair industry and built my third successful business, rising to the top of the compensation plan for the 3rd time in my career but just recently, that company decided to close too. True to my passion, I aligned with a company that is all about self-confidence! We all feel more confident when we are happy with the skin we are in! I’d love to help you gain your self confidence too!
